I've drank alcohol many times to fall asleep. If you dont over do it then you should be fine. You still may want to talk to a doctor about your problem if you cant sleep normally, thiers prescriptions written specifically for sleeping problems.

When I have insomnia, alcohol does not help. But you can ask your primary care doctor for something effective and non-addictive like Trazodone. It will put you to sleep, you will get a restful sleeep and should not be groggy in the morning. It also contains a very mild antidepressant so it can help further if you have the blues. Plus your body will not get addicted to it. good luck.

I never drink to fall asleep. I used to drink and fall asleep . then again I used to drink and play basketball too.... Drinking in general is stupid. It is a complex sugar that damages your liver and kidneys in time. Forget about your brain cells. There is nothing more depressing than dialysis.....

2 or 3 beers helps me sleep easier. That amount will just give me a dry mouth by morning.

I don't remember it has been so long since I have drank any alcohol.
