downloading songs?

Question

whenever i download songs from the attachments they don't get completely downloaded . sometime after 70% and some time after 85% or in between , it stops and says that download is complete and i don't know that what should i do?

my brother has sent me the attachments of these hindi songs frm. india and he can play them in his comp. but i can't .

Are you previewing the songs as you download them? That should let you know if they're good or not. Some of the larger record companies actually dump huge numbers of corrupt files into P2P file-sharing networks to frustrate people trying to "steal" music. The more popular the artist, the harder it will be to get a good file. Sometimes if you try misspelling the name of the song when searching you'll get better results, the record companies won't have grammatical errors in the titles of their files.

I think the problem is with the cookies that your comp has accumulated.. Just clear all those recent files and cookies and then try downloading.. And it also depends on the connection speed and server u have.

To clear cookies;

Go control panel > Internet options > [Delete cookies] then, [Delete files] and then [OK]

This type of problem occurs because of your internet connection speed or Transfer rate and Response site server. For this first you try with High Speed net connection. or try to download in Peak Times (like mid nights, cause that time visitors for those sites will be less and response time also increase suprisingly)

it happen to me sometimes too. i just have to keep on downloading it until it's fully download.

sometimes they can be fakes. are you downloading from limewire?
