It will be fine of course for Internet, it will probably play movies okay, you might have a lttle trouble if you start multitasking or run a big program. As far as gaming, don't even think about it, this system will not game at all. It is probably worth the money, since $400 is pretty cheap for a laptop, but if you can afford to spend more then do so, this system is very low end one. However if you are really on a budget and need some type of laptop, this is a fairly good choice. If you can spend up to around the $700 range, take a look at the Dell Inspiron 1501, you get more for your money there. If you need further advice, feel free to email me, its in my profile.

You will be able to Watch movies fine and browse the internet..but for gaming i wouldn't expect much.
The integrated video uses 128 mb of the 512mb the system has and the integrated gpu is in about the same class as a Radeon 9200 to be honest.
It's still a good deal as you can always add more ram you just cant upgrade the video card.
I'd buy one for myself if i had the spare cash.

The series of such AMD (+), have been designed to pass over the Pentium D, It has passed over the heating (the problem of the pentium D).
This mentioned above is ideal for Entertainment and Browsing internet... But it has two defects:
the one is the Graphical side.! the xpress 200 ATI, designed for a high virtuality graphic but it has low Impacts on Designing or Gaming.
Also, the RAM seems to be Lower to support Gaming on high Resolution.. you will not feel relax Playing.!
Sounds Good as a price, but doesn't match ur requirments.
So I left u the Choice.!!!!
enjoy it ;)

not bad at all for regular useage.
for gaming, you may want to upgrade to a higher video card
the ATI Radeon one
and upgrade RAM to about 1gb if not more.
it all depends on your games
for stuff like world of warcraft
it is fine, maybe a little lag
but for games like Halo, Battlefield 2 and Guild Wars or watever
you definatly want a better one.
IF you can,
get a dual core
with 1gb of RAM
and a good videocard
try looking at some Dell laptops and Acer laptops

You don't have a graphics card; your graphics are coming from a chip on your motherboard. Your system simply isn't built for even the lowest tech of games. I hate to say this, but it is time to donate your computer to a school and buy yourself a new one.
