I do, but it seems silly to me. I just find myself thinking, "oh, it is really only such and such time". Yet I continue to do this. I am rarely late, though.

I've never actually bothered setting my clocks ahead for any reason (except daylight savings). I figure that I always give myself time to allow for traffic, have at least 2 alternate routes for anywhere I'm going, allow time for different modes of transportation (by foot, bike, or car) and make sure I leave out the door exactly when I know I need to.

No. I think that's silly. I don't understand people that do that. Are you really fooling yourself? I'd rather see the real time. I think setting it ahead would be counterproductive (unless you forget that you set it ahead but I doubt you would) because you would know that you had extra time so you wouldn't hurry as much & may end up more late! You just have to manage your time better.

Heehee! Good question! My alarm clock is set 10 minutes early so I can snooze. The clocks in my bathroom and my car are 5 minutes early. My watches are on time! ;)

I set mine about 10 minutes ahead, but it doesn't really help because I usually remember that it's 10 minutes fast. I keep it that way out of habit, though.

When it's for work, I don't mess with it. But I've experimented...Sometimes, I say to myse: I wanna wake up at X time , and I actually do! No clock! Last time I did , I whispered out loud that I wanted to wake up at 07:15 PM. and I even put my alarm for it. My cat heard me and started to MEEEEOOOWW at 07: 14 pm, just to make sure!
