This may sound strange but the show is a feel good show but at the same time a bit depressing since they began to pick familys or focus more on those who are sick--dying or disabled.
I love Ty and what the show does but I admit I would like to see more people have a chance of being picked not based on Illness etc...
I really liked the one two weeks ago--the family who had a fire and were camping out. No one was sick.
Dont get me wrong--what they do for the familys who are dealing with Illness or death is amazing--I just would like to see a balance between them and familys who are having a hard time and a home makeover would help them just as much.

I am happy that there are those that have the abililty to make a difference in others less fortunate....I too, like to give more than to receive, but don't have the visibility or the money to make the difference these people do on the show...the families are so appreciative and the workers who made it possible can feel that they have done something good with their lives as well....great show, good premise and even though I am usually crying along with the family at the end, I enjoy watching it...

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of the builders,the design team and the community in general who come together to make life better for a family in need. They show what the American spirit is really all about.

I feel like I don't appreciate what I have enough. I don't have alot, but there are people on there that have much less than I do whose needs are greater. I always end up crying at the end when they show the new house and all the rooms.

I feel ugly and inferior and like I need to get my name down quick for an extreme makeover before anyone sees me!

It makes me more grateful for my family, home and health. And, it warms my heart to see others making the lives of those people better with new homes, jobs, scholarships, and hope!

I feel like redecorating my Room. They give really good ideas and are not costly also.
