I've been getting WIC throughout my entire pregnancy. I've just had my baby and recently got married a couple of months ago. Now that they are born I have to put them on WIC in order to get milk. With my husband, financially, we are still eligible but can a married woman still receive WIC? Please help!!!!!!

I'm married and am on WIC, and my baby is due in January. If you breastfeed, you get WIC a little longer. If you don't breastfeed, you don't get it as long. Check with your local WIC agency and see what they say.

I'm a WIC Nutritionist. The qualifications for WIC are based on income, whether you're pregnant and have infants younger than 5. The more family members the better.

Wic is based on finances not marital status...

For a woman to be eligible to get WIC for herself the family must meet the financial guidelines, and she must be either pregnant or breast feeding..

To get WIC for a child the child needs to be between the ages of birth and 5 and your family must meet the financial guidelines...

My four year old is on WIC and my wife is also, she is pregnant. I think that you have to be pregnant to recieve WIC while you are married. Not sure but that is how it is with my wife and I. The income amount will also be a factor. The best thing to do is to call your WIC office in the morning.

Yes they will if you are financially eligible. And the financial guidelines can be pretty high sometimes.
Find your local WIC office and go in for an interview to find out =p

i think of you're an extremely bitter, impolite, chilly guy or woman. I do agree that some ppl use the equipment, yet there are ppl obtainable who do % the structures help.. no longer because of the fact they're lazy or ineffective yet because of the fact they have had a annoying existence and have been given delt a bad hand. i'm a mom of a 6 mo previous infant that replaced into bor 6 weeks early because of the fact I easily have undesirable wellbeing and function been diabetic for 15 years and replaced into no longer utilising protection because of the fact i replaced into instructed while i replaced into sixteen i wouldn't in any respect be able to have a baby. If it replaced into no longer for Medicaid then there may be ho way i could have been able to pay for each and all of the particular care he and that i the two had to recieve that saved our lives. i think of in the previous you get on right here and bash ppl who % counsel you will desire to offer up and think of appropriate to the variety you're making ppl sense. i'm an extremely stable mom and that does jot substitute because of the fact i % help from the state. you at the instant are not to any extent further than all of us! So get off your intense horse and comprehend that your s#* t do no longer scent like roses.

if you work you can't receive wic but if you would like to be a stay at home mom with the government's help you will still get wic. I was told I made 66 dollars a week too much to qualify but my niece who decided to stay home received wic, medicaid, and food stamps. I only worked 15 hours a week and I wasn't going to put my daughter below the poverty line just to receive help.My husband and i made it work.

Yes you can. WIC is designed to help you and your family with basic needs for the baby. It is based on your financial needs. Check with your local charitable organization to see if you qualify
