Both are equally horrible people; both deserve equally horrible ends.

Incarceration to rot their lives away

Well, most estimates put the war dead from Iraq-Iran, a war which was started and managed by Saddam at around a million. The civilian deaths during his regime, secret police, revolt suppression, gas attacks, tortured to death, political murders, genocide, political suppression etc has also been estimated at over a million, so that would put him at 2,000,000 deaths at least.

I am sure for all his worst intentions, his terrorist attacks on the west, Christians and fellow Muslims, that Osama doesn't even come close, a few thousand at the most.

But hanging for both of them is OK with me, its actually a pretty nasty form of execution........

(George Bush, who said that? Give me a break! Don't you have anything better to do, Howard Dean, this close to the elections.......)

Saddam is responsible for more, although no precise count can ever be made for him or for Bin Laden - they hid many of their crimes.
The Documental Centre for Human Rights in Iraq has compiled documentation on over 600,000 civilian executions in Iraq. Human Rights Watch reports that in one operation alone, the Anfal, Saddam killed 100,000 Kurdish Iraqis. Another 500,000 are estimated to have died in Saddam's needless war with Iran. Coldly taken as a daily average for the 24 years of Saddam's reign, these numbers give us a horrifying picture of between 70 and 125 civilian deaths per day for every one of Saddam's 8,000-odd days in power" http://wais.stanford.edu/Iraq/iraq_deathsundersaddamhussein42503.html

As to Bin Laden, I could not find an estimate of the number of deaths he caused but it is apparent it could not rival Hussein's number because Afghanistan is much smaller in population and the sheiks there wield a lot of influence (Hussein was in complete control in Iraq.) But the nearly 3000 deaths he caused on 9/11 were more important to Americans than all the deaths caused by Hussein.

Bin Laden should also be executed. He attacked totally innocent people in our country who were just going about their daily business and has attacked the same kind of people in other countries. That is the coward's way of waging war.

Osama to be bent down with hands tied and legs spread apart. Next, get all the black brothers to line up and give him hell of a time.
