Everytime I have sex, I bleed. Does anyone know why? After having my daughter when I went in for my 6 week check up, they found not sure what it is called now, but an abnormality, I went in and had more tests done, they said It was nothing, and what ever was there, was not anymore. That was 5 years ago. I read in a book that sometimes bleeding after sex could be a sign that something is wrong. Any help would be great, and if you know of a site I could look at that would help also. Thanks

Here is a great web site. I sometimes bleed after sex too. My doctor told me that it was normal but look at this site for other possibilities!

I had a cervical polyp and it caused me to bleed after sex and other times too.
My Dr removed it and it stopped. My doctor said different things can cause spotting/bleeding after sex such as an infections-(std's), hormones, tilted cervix, your mate being too rough or large in size, dryness, and a host of other reasons so what I would do is to get your pap and have a pelvic exam so your doctor can check for any abnormalities etc plus your Dr should be able to run a few tests to rule out some things..In my own opinion I don't think it is too uncommon for this to happen but I would get things checked out to make sure it isn't anything serious..Good Luck!

Were you a virgin ? If yes then the bleeding is normal for the first time and also can be normal for a certain period after as the hymen might not broke from the first time. If you experience pains the only thing I can think at is that you are not relaxed enough so take more time before the actual penetration and relax relax....Try not to think too much at it. Take care!

You need to see your doc and get this checked it. It could be nothing or it could mean something but either way get it checked. Bleeding with sex is not normal unless you are a virgin.

Go to your OB?GYN. I had bleeding after sex and they checked my cervix and had to remove some blood clusters.
