gosh.... there's a lot of different kinds of music teens love to dance to. my personal taste isn't quite representative of the majority, but you may want to find what your particular audience's preference is.

latin:
-objection (tango) by shakira
-nothing at all by santana feat musiq
-maria maria by santana feat jean wyclef
-la bomba by ricky martin

r&b
-just about anything by destiny's child or beyonce
-just about anything by usher
-gangsta lovin by eve feat alicia keys

pop:
-whatcha waiting for by gwen stefani
-love at first sight by kylie minogue (or anything by kylie at all)
- (ugh, gosh, i don't really listen to pop music... why don't you listen to local commercial radio or mtv?)

country:
-man, i feel like a woman by shania twain
-kenny chesney

rock:
-rollin' by limp bizkit
-the seed by the roots
-walkin' on the sun by smash mouth (MUST PLAY--it never fails)
-hitchin' a ride by green day
-motion by plumb
-across the night by silverchair (great for slowdancing at the end of the evening)

electronica:
-try moby, fatboy slim, dario g
-this song called "love generation" -- i hear it all the time in europe but can't remember who the artist is

if your kids like fast happy party songs, try eurodance. personally it's not my favourite genre, but it works. popular artists include vengaboys, eiffel65, daft punk, and aqua.
