He certainly should not be. I'm straight but choose to clip my hair for several reasons. Firstly it looks neater and makes my friend look larger, and secondly I tend to sweat a lot, so by trimming my pubes and shaving my ball sac I feel much more comfortable down there. So my advise would be, gay or not give it a try.......and if you find you don't care for it the hair will grow back.
Snip, snip and good luck

Shaving of pubic hair says nothing about whether a man's gay or straight. And why would a man want to shave down there? Pubic hair is a perfectly normal thing to have.

Dude, I easily have shaved for years and these days had an entire wax. it somewhat is astonishing. those people who think of you seem pre-pubescent would desire to be equipped like little boys, because of the fact i comprehend I particular do no longer seem that way. It feels lots extra suitable and the spouse loves it!!! No reason to be embarassed. the only distinction between a guy and a girl shaving is they have been doing it longer...

No shaving your pubic hair has nothing to do with sexuality. It is merely a preference.

A man shaving all their pubic hair is up to the man's sex partner and him, or just him. If the man's sex partner is a man, chances are he is gay.....(hope you understand sarcasm....)

Some guys, who are athletes (weighlifters, bike racers, runners, swimmers) shave it all off for performance, speed, and good self-image.

No! It's just a courtesy for what us girls do for them LOL. I want my man to do it but he won't !!!!!! I don't necessarily want him to shave it entirely. Just trim real good, lol..
