The same place that darkness comes from ... the absense of light. Evil is anywhere God is not. If God doesn't have his hand in something, there's no spirit and what's left is mans flesh / sin nature.

The fact that God is good is the best reason why evil exists. It is because everything has a counter part. In sciece if there is a proton then there will be an antiproton. The exact concept apply with the source of evil. It is because there is God satan came into picture. Without good there will be no evil and vise versa like the yin yang in Chinese.

God made humans with a mind to make their choices to sin and create evil, abuses, crimes, murders, lies, etc or to do good things (help others, be honest, share and give)...Other evil is committed by satan in a way to get people to fall from serving God (Jesus, the Lord, Higher Power) if there is evil, people will curse God and serve satan. Evil does not come from God.

Evil is the result of the human ability to create and our free will. We are selfish and do not live according to God's laws to love him and our neighbor. It also comes from the Devil and his demons who try to tempt humans into going against God and the laws of Love.

God made the whole world in opposites, balanced. Black and white, right and wrong, left and right. Evil is good's opposite, maintaining the balance. If there was no evil, good wouldn't really be all that, well, good.

Tee hee. Ok no I'm only kidding (sort of).

It comes from Satan. Or from within ourselves. We all have the capacity for both good & evil. The choice is yours.
