I don't know if this is at all helpful, but try your local Indian/Middle Eastern market. I live in Kansas, and I was at a local Indian grocery called the "Shawnee Bazaar" and they had several Carrom (the typical Anglicized spelling) boards there. I would suggest that if you are looking for the real game experience, look around for a shop like that before considering trying Amazon or most places online. The Carrom Company of North America make a 9-in-1 or 15-in-1 or XXX-in-one board that incorporates Carrom, Backgammon, Chess, Checkers, Crokinole, and a host of other games, but the pockets are much larger than are used in traditional carrom -- I don't recommend their boards.
Additionally, though somewhat pricey ($100-$175+), Crokinole is a very very fun game that has some similarities to Carrom. Though the boards for Crokinole are usually found to the north (in and around Canada) the game is very very fun, the boards are usually hand-constructed and will last a lifetime, if you decide you don't like the game, and there are enough gamers in the US that want the boards badly enough that you can likely get 80-105% of your purchase price back out of it by selling. I bought a Crokinole board in the spring after playing last fall, and I have played some 80-100 games in the last six months, with no signs of slowing down. Everyone I have introduced to the game has absolutely loved it.

There's one at Amazon and you can find them various places on the web, but you might have better luck if you search using the spelling "Carrom"
