Becuase you have to buy the kit, then get it and ur whole car painted to match... its what I heard anyways.

It can be pricey. Most of the good kits come in primer gray, so you have to repaint your car and kit. And if you don't have the capabilities, you'll have to pay a garage to mount the kit and remove/dispose of the parts that the kit replaces (bumper, running boards, whatever).

You can get some aftermarket parts that match your car's current paint, if it's a stock color and a popular model - that will reduce the cost.

no there not you can get body kits all over the net anywhere from 200-500 dollars check ebay you can put them on yourself or pay about 350$ for a shop to do it plus they change the whole look of your car if you want a custom look go for it

i had a body kit on my car a few years ago... It wasnt worth it at all cast me a lot of money and broke, then i didnt have stock front bumper so i had to buy a new one. and even more money . Chicks dont really like them either.
