Unfortunately, I do. Based on the other answers, perhaps it is just a normal human urge. That makes me feel a little better about it.

Have I ever had the urge? Yes, of course I've been tempted from time to time.
Have I ever followed through on it? No.
I have more respect for myself than that. Never had a one night stand. Never could. I'm not built that way. I need a deeper emotional connection, wouldn't settle for a casual encounter.

I surely do and I have had the opportunity for just such encounters, I feel they are more romantic cause you are two strangers that dont actually need to get involved in each others mental agonies, But are there for that moment and that too, very pleasant ones,
and the hugs and kisses and caresses are a lot more than sex itself.

Yes, I have. Sometimes it's because I feel a peculiar kinship with them for some reason - a shared emotion or a shared experience. Sometimes it's pure attraction. And sometimes it's because life just seems so lonely that connecting with ANYONE would be great.

Yes. Sometimes someone I just met will say or do something that will make me want to hug them or kiss them. Not like in a deep romantic kind of way, but in a "I LIKE you" kind of way, and "I want to hug/kiss you for that." ;)

Yeah, but not someone off of the internet. I'm talking about someone that you see in the store and you don't even know them but you just want to go somewhere with them and maybe hang out with them, share thoughts and ideas that you could never share with someone you know. It sounds amazing.

I was at a bus stop one time and this girl came over to me and started a conversation. Within 30 seconds she said "I want you", jumped on my lap and started tongue kissing me. It was very erotic.
