With an 18 year old just go w/ some friend who is 18 that's what my friend did

I tried it one time. I got busted for being underage. I have friends who work in the theater and they are strict. But if you go in the afternoon on a weekday, when there isn't a lot of people there, the theater is more worried about trying to make the money on the film they're showing. Just be mature about it and enjoy the movie.

Not likely as it sounds like you are 16 turning 17 and R is restricted for 18+ (Well in Australia)
They aren't all they are cracked up to be.

Do YOU think you can watch an R rated movie, and handle it's more graphic nature? What is your background? eg. have you seen sex on TV and violence before? Did you understood it and were you Okay with it? You should only really go if your comfortable, and you know you won't get weirded out, right?
You know YOUR own limits, so you are the best one to answer this!

Of course u can watch whatever u want to,but, R-rated movies are for 18+ .

sure you can watch rated R movies as long as there has no attendants checking IDs at the theater
