I know T-Mobile is playing a scam on me. I have a $69.99 Family plan (2 cellphones), and until March '06 my bill was a reasonable amount of $75 ($80-85 max). Then onward it has only been increasing every month. It went up to $109 in April, $136 in May, $150 in June, $161 in July, $250 in August and $321.21 in September. This October's bill shows $198.68.
I started suspecting a "scam" for the past two months yet had to do away with payment only becoz I had no way of catching them. But this time I analyzed each and every call, for both the phones on my account, and am pretty much sure that I'm being charged extra. The only unfortunate thing is that I'm still not able to find out exactly 'where' the fraud is located.
Every time I call them up, the service rep starts explaining bulls**t stuff like "well, cellphones can be expensive to use" to "our systems are totally error-free" etc.
Pls advise me. All suggestions are appreciated. Pls help urgently, thanks in advance.

i work for a cell phone competitor so i hope this helps....do you have unlim n/w mins or do you only have 1000? some of the t-mobile plans don't even include n/w mins and customers don't realize. also i would check on texting/data on both phns. sometimes you don't realize it but you may be playing w/ ur phn and not have a data plan and this would increase costs. i would also verify what the other phone is doing in regards to mins.

sounds like who ever is using the 2nd line is lying to you and is making calls, text messages, etc behind your back.

why would a multi billion dollar company single out one person to rip off a few bucks from?

let alone, you should be able to look at your bill and see every charge and see where its coming from.

maybe you are going over in minutes each month, above your plan, this will greatly increase your bill.

if you are using more minutes, up your plan rate and you will save money.

most likely you are not paying attention to free nights and weekend times properly or you think you are calling friends on the same system for free when they aren't on the system, so you are being charged for it.

they are right......cells are expensive and can cost you an arm and a leg if you don't watch your usage and their system is for most part error free.

i used to work for t-mobile and as easy as it is to blame the company it's not their fault. You are given the option to check your minutes just by pressing #646# and then the send key, just so you don't go over. I've seen thousands of peoples bills and never once has it been the companies fault, monitor your usage as you go.
