I am hoping M&M89 is viewing this question. I was too late on answreing his question about 3 wheelers. I built a trike back in the 70's,and one big issue I noticed immediatly they are DANGEROUS. They dont lean like a 2 wheeled bike and they dont drive like a car at all. Especially with the motor in back of the rear axcel like in a VW kit is built. Whats your opinion?

three wheelers are great fun but you must be mature and very catious to ride them in some maybe most states it is illegal to buy and sell these vehicles under certain circumstances . I have rode raced and enjoyed three wheelers in the past and would do it again but not in front of my kids because the are VERY dangerous...even if you know what you are doing

Thanks for your input. I am a female and I have always wanted to ride, but don't have a man with a bike. I am afraid I wouldn't be able to handle two wheels. I have been on Poker Runs and stuff, and I have seen other girls ride Trikes. Is it really that hard?

yes they are very dangerous. rebuild the trike into a quad, it is much safer.
