I don't think it needs to turn into a big drama with you telling her off and a fight ensuing, but you should consider the source. If you really feel that the only reason she wants you to break up with your boyfriend is her jealousy, then just don't take her advice. If she keeps nagging at you, then tell her that you appreciate her advice, but that you're going to live your life the way you want to. However, if she does have a reason to be upset with him (a geniune red flag) then you should consider what she's saying. Often times our friends can see what we can't. But the biggest thing is here that you don't want to burn any bridges with your friend. Boys will come and go, but friends last a life time. Most friends, at least.

If what you are saying is true then maybe your friend is suffering from what most people call jealousy. You could always sit her down and have a friendly but firm talk about what your needs and wants are and that what ever happens you'd like to see eachother still as friends. But if thats not the case maybe you should have a long think, maybe you are spending to much time with your boyfriend or maybe whenever you do hang out with her hes all you ever talk about. Maybe your friend sees something in this guy that you dont and is worried about you. Or maybe she's upset because if she cant have a boyfriend then why should you be allowed?

Don't tell her off. She's jealous of your relationship w/ your boyfriend cuz she's put on the back burner. Try not to talk about your bf around her too much & try to spend more time w/ her. When your bf is out of the picture, you don't want your best friend to be out of the pic as well. When she brings it up, just change the subject.

You should not tell her off--you can stand up for yourself without "telling her off." You both might really miss each other if the friendship breaks up over this guy! If she can't support your relationship just try to make time for her when you can and keep the subject of your boyfriend off-limits. Neither one of them should be telling you what to do. Good Luck!

Just tell her how you feel. Tell her that you still have time for her but most of your time is with your boyfriend. If she doesn't understand you being in a relationship. Then is she really a friend.

It's hard to answer without knowing more about your boyfriend, but maybe you should balance your time between the two better? There will always be time for boys, best friends are hard to come by!

She's jealous. I wouldn't tell her off. But let her know that's a lame reason to dump someone and you won't do it. If she doesn't like it, there's the age old question, "was she ever really your friend"?

this is really hard for your friend, cause she misses your attention, so dont immediately just tell her off, just go tell her that your friendship will remain because you will always be there for you, ask her to give you some time, because if she really is your friend she would understand that you also feel happy with the man you love,

dont even trip girl. your friend is just jealous of your relationship. tell your friend that you value her friendship but she needs to chill out. dont tell her off though. A man is not a reason to go off on your best friend.

She is jealous and she misses you. It is perfectly natural for friends to feel betrayed when a boyfriend enters the picture. Just assure her that she is still your friend, but you care for your boyfriend too. She'll adjust.
