After remaking UMRAO JAAN, J.P.Dutta is now making GAYATRI DEVI MAHARANI , another female oriented movie, with Aishwarya Rai in it playing the lead role . After that he intends to remake PAKEEZAH, the late Kamal Amrohi's mega-blockbuster. Which actress do u think should be cast by him in the lead role immotalised by the great Meena Kumari ?And above all, should J.P ever try remaking PAKEEZAH ?

PAKEEZAH...to be re-made by J.P.Dutta..Oh, no !...I'll get a heart attack...Even Meena Kumari Amrohi's step-son will commit suicide hearing this ! After J.P.Dutta messed up with Umrao Jaan, he should permanently refrain from making & re-making women-oriented movies !....Regarding the choice as to who should play the lead double role of mother prostitute & daughter prostitute in the 1971 all time classic PAKEEZAH , well...there is only 1 actress in Bollywood who can do justice to Meena Kumari's role & acting and that is MADHURI DIXIT. None of the current lot of actresses be it Ash, Kareena,Priyanka,Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Kajol,Tabu, Chitrangada Singh can act as well as Meenaji. Only Ms.Madhuri Dixit Nene has the potential to match Meenaji's calibre.
