check the wiring to the oil light sending unit , and the sending unit itself, sounds like maybe its an electrical problem, the only way to be sure though is to check the oil pressure with a quality oil pressure gage. dont run the engine untill you know.

Yes have the oil pressure checked with a known good gauge.Do not trust a sending unit.

if THE OIL LEVAL IS OK AND THE BIKE IS NOT MAKING ANY NOISE THEN YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE OIL SENDING UNIT.
IT IS CONNECTED BY 1 WIRE AND IT IS POSSABLE THE WIRE HAS BROKEN OR COME OFF. THIS WILL MAKE THE LIGHT STAY ON .
LOCATE THE PRESSURE SWITCH AND EATHER RECONNECT THE WIRE, REPAIR THE WIRE OR REPLACE THE SENDING UNIT.
