i heard a while ago the that Wachowski bros were being sued cause they stole a womens scrpit for a movie. they renamed some characters and such and made the matrix. man, if this is true, we should find out who this woman is, and give her the credit , and then see what other kinds of movies we can make from her brilliant mind.
and , one of the wachowski bros had a sex change i read on yahoo news a few years back, thats pretty jacked up

That is just what the machines want you to think. But seriously, I never heard anything like that. I heard that the Wachoski brothers are really into gnosticism and philosophy and pretty much all of the themes that recur within the Matrix universe, so I'd buy the story that it's their brainchild.

The Matrix, was based on Japanese comics, they conceived the idea from the comics since long time ago.
I don't think they need to stole the script.
The key element is the idea that we are plugged to something and our lives are not true, just a part of a dream.
They thought to develop the story as a trilogy, so I think is hard to believe they could steal it, but . . . we can never say.
On the other hand, if one of them change of sex, with all my respect, is his own problem, don't you think
