School is starting to get pretty rough. I can't walk anywhere without getting judged. But people are judging me for no reason. Everyone thinks that I'm a homosexual, because I have a higher voice then most people, but I'm not. Someone acctually came up to me and asked me if it was true. So I asked her why she thought that, and she said it's because of the way I acted and my voice is probably a little higher then it should be. What should I do???

Firstly stop being down on yourself. If you were homosexual you would be EVERY BIT AS GOOD as you are if you are heterosexual. I don't know where you are in school -- locally the schools have gay/straight alliances and prejudice has pretty much vanished over the last few decades -- but wherever it is, you must accept yourself -- high voice and all -- there is NO SUCH THING as "a little higher than it should be." It is YOUR VOICE. If there are people f*cked up enough to even care then I pity them for their ignorance and stupidity and I pity you that you have to put up with them.
High voices don't make people gay. People are what they are. If you are straight, you are straight and the stupid bigots will eventually go away. If you are gay you are gay, and the stupid bigots will still eventually go away.
Believe in yourself and be yourself -- you do not have to and you should NEVER, EVER attempt to be someone else in order to satisfy someone other than yourself.
I suspect that gay or straight you are also shy, and I am terribly sorry that this is happening to you *hug*.

I happen to be gay in fact, and I've been out since I was 14 -- I'm an adult. I raised two boys (both straight) from their early teens and I've had the same partner for nearly 15 years -- and I do genuinely care about all people.

School is rough. It is probably the time of your life that you feel the most judged by other people. Try not to let them get to you. If you are not gay, then you are not gay. If someone picks on you for a high voice, just say that it takes longer for a real man to have his voice change.

I am going to tell you something that my mom told me and it rings true nearly daily. Everyone is going to judge you no matter what. You have a high voice. Big deal. It doesn't mean you are gay. If you act anything nearly girly, you are labeled gay. It sucks but thats how people are today. I don't think you are gay. *hugs*

you should ignore those ppl and hang on in there. STAY STRONG! act as if it doesn't bother you and go on as you normally would in a day of school. you're voice won't be high for the rest of your life. don't worry. :) it's called puberty, something everyone goes through and w/ guys their voice will crack and get deeper. it's just something ppl your age don't understand yet.

ignore them, it will end if you dont let it get to you, it is not true so why adhere and listen to it, you are in school to learn to gain experience to have friends, dont mind this people, all people judge including you but the important thing is to stand ready and steady for the harsh world, this is just school if you are not tough enough how will you face the world, forget them concentrate on doing things you love , dont think about this, dont let them get to you , dont give them the right,!!!! be strong

dont talk to any one any more if they talk to you tell em to f off kick some ones butt that always helps then dress a little cooler then ask a girl out see where it gets you remember never care what people think thats what ends you alwayse be your self and never try to be anyones friend let them be your friend be a leader and that alone will earn you some respect learn how to be d@@k when you need to
