REad some comments about cars being British but at times he has driven some American cars as well. And I think only during Golden Eye a Ferrari appeared (racing down the hills of Monte Carlo) and that's it. Although magnificant cars and prob. better then Astons, Ferraris are just not as classy as Astons; but still one wonders. BTW, BMWs were totally for ad. reasons. I don't think they match the character of a Bond.

Ferrari doesn't do placement advertising. Ferrari doesn't really advertise; they don't have to.

He drove Aston Martin because he was English, so he had to drive an English car.
Then, they probably started advertising BMW.

It's just not British enough. Neither was the BMW.
