why would you WANT to say it in the first place

Personally I believe its some deep rooted racism or something. "Black people say the N word, so why can't I???" Its like they're dying to call us "n*gger"! I'm black, and I don't say it. I don't think anyone else should either. Its like they want to use the ignorance of others as an excuse to say it.

It's the fact that white people "arent allowed" and black people "are" that keeps racism alive. As long as there is any type of rift or boundary, both races, black & white will remain divided. Honestly, if you really sit down & think about it, it's as if black people still WANT to be seperate; as much some of them complain about still not being equal, its the fact that certain phrases, clothing, and other cultural aspects are still used by certain races and still deemed offensive. From an outsiders view (Im white, so im just thinking outside the box) it would seem that Black people are hypocritical, they demand equality, yet when white people try to share their 'language' or customs, they take it as offensive. Granted, it IS offensive when used as a deragorty term, but this is the 2000s... nothing is strictly derogatory now.

lol - i think the real reason some of them feel as though they are entitled to say whatever they want...it's the same principal with doing away with affirmative action - there has to be some parameters to allow minorities to get in the system. plus, nobody argues when students get additional admission points if there parents or relatives attended the same school. truthfully, the majority of them have absolutely no idea what it is to be discriminated against for their entire life.

no race should use that term - it's derogatory in its entirety...

Any one who gets angry at calling someone a name has no respect for other people and possibly less for themselves.

If someone doesn't want you to call them a certain name just do it out of respect. The world is real short on this quality these days it seems. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom to insult or degrade. I think lots of people think that it is.

Well, to be frankly honest, more of them say it than you realize. The question can be asked of you about whites being called names as well.

Depends which niigga you say it to. When a black says it to another black it is suppose to be in a friendly "how's it hangin" type of way. When a white says it they get insulted and could kill him for it. Only blacks can say it because it is a term used by "gangsta's" it has nothing to do with slavery, that is all a bunch of bullshiit, blacks were bartered for their services-aka."slavery" many years ago, black people blew 'slavery" out of proportion to get what they want today.
I believe white people are angry at these black people because they are using "slavery" as an excuse to constantly swindle us white people. They come into our country and corrupt it like they are living in Jamaica. They constantly smuggle marijuana into USA, they steal our cars, bikes and women, they constantly commit violent crimes, etc. WAKE UP WHITIE, blacks are the true racist people today, they look at white people as physically weak and "soft" hearted. Lets stand up to these human swine. I love all people including blacks but it is them who don't see eye to eye with white people and never will no matter how much they pretend to.
Black people always strive for respect but really don't know how to give it...unless you are like them or one of them./

Nobody should use this or other words that degrade people. I am Black and hate this and all racist, homophobic terms as well as terms that disrespect people's religions.

I just don't like to go out of my way to hurt someone's feelings for no reason at all.
