I am choosing between one of the following GSM 850 cell phones, which both work with a special cable that allows me to connect a cell phone to my handspring visor pda for internet access:
Motorola T720 / 721
nokia 6200
ericsson T616, T316, T306, T62u

I am leaning towards either the motorola or nokia. One consideration for me is that inside my house I currently have very poor (pretty much none) reception. If I walk outside my door I have ok reception. I understand the nokia 6200 has excellent reception and is a great phone, but it has an internal antenna so it limits other options like "boosters" and "expandable antenna's" etc.

The motorola phone seems to be only "so-so" for quality and reception, but I can use an expandable antenna like this one with it:

So - for GSM 850, would that antenna improve anything, or just stick with good nokia?

I've been in the wireless industry since 1993 working as an RF Engineer. In my experience, NOKIA phones have the highest sensitivity. Meaning, they are the best phones and would likely last to drop a call in a weak sell coverage compared to some other cell phone makers.

The sony ericsson W810i is relatively the final telephone to beat comparing with Motorola's KRZR K3. Techs specifications smart, i might decide for the 810i every time my chum. it relatively is in basic terms staggering!!!
