there was a link on a screen cap of a video clip to download on a website, and it was actually an invitation to a trial membership of the website...so, not knowing it was an invitation to a trial membership, i continued with the download...and it activated my trial membership...i then cancelled my membership, but then when i tried to make sure that it was gone, i went back to the site...and it logged me in still...wtf is going on? is it gone? what do i do? i can't find a "customer service" link on the site anymore...PLEASE i need help

It would be helpful if you specified which web site it is and what harmful information you passed on to it.
If you haven't submitted and personal information especially credit card then it is not harmful but if money is in stake here then simply cancel those charges through the credit card and the website owner has the responsibility to explain why those charges are justified.
Otherwise, no harm no faul.
You may want to consider removing all your internet cookies and uninstall that program through the control panel.
