I would think a good answer for this would be "People look to me for answers. I'm determined, Intelligent, and a good listener as well as a good motivator. But I think my best quality that makes me a good leader is the satisfaction I get from helping others and being someone they can rely on." If this is for an interview or something of that sort I suggest you tweak it a little to make it sound more natural.

I'm an intelligent, educated, well read man who has gone through enough history to know; when to listen to my team, or the people working with me on the same project. Even the people who are on the peripheral of our work are heard so as not to impede upon our progress.
Another factor is my knowledge of my weaknesses. This allows me to delegate to my peers responsiblities to the project, or in the workforce in order to see it properly managed.
Ego; it is in check at pivotal times working with my co-workers. This means I rarely take things personally.
I'm not afraid to say "I Don't know".
I'm not afraid to give credit where credit is due.
I have no fear of calling some one on their B.S. when and only when it is required.
That's it in a nutshell. You have to understand when you're working to lead people there are a thousand matters that can get in your way, depending on the terms, and length of any given project. After all you are working with human beings.
