Yes, my elevator goes all the way to the top. BUT there are those that are one brick shy of a load. Or maybe one taco short of a combination plate.

Sometimes it does quite nicely
Other times I have to take the fire escape
but most times I have to post a Hazardous do not enter sign just to be on the safe side
