I have always wondered if the McDonalds #1 is the same everywhere (in Idaho it is the Big Mac meal); if the Jack in the Box #5 is the same (Sourdough Jack); ect. I haven't really traveled outside the Northwest. I know the breakfast meal at McD's (#3 bacon egg and cheese biscuit) is the same in Idaho, on the Oregon Coast and in Yellowstone. What do you think?

Wow. I am inspired by the variety. Sausage burritos? Green chili? Year round McRib? Now I know for sure I have to get out and travel- and not worry about my favorite being on the menu. Thank you all.

I think they're supposed to be. I mostly get the McD's #8 here which is the sausage burritos but I was in Atlanta recently where I ordered #8 and then looked up and it wasn't it.

I'm pretty sure that every McD's I've ever been to, #1 is the Big Mac meal. The other numbers could be different, however, because you can get different products in different areas. Like some places still have the McRib all the time, and we only have it "limited time only". That kind of thing.

I think the sandwiches are the same but I know in some states you can get additional toppings. In New Mexico, they have green chili cheeseburgers at McDonalds and Wendys. You can also add green chili to your subs at Subway.

I'm in Canada and the Big Mac is #1
I think the Big Extra is like #4
The McNuggets are like #6 or 9
(As you can see, I don't eat at Mc Donalds much)

the are regional "specials" but overall. they are the same
