I'd like to know if pregnancy is still possible without any protection when I get intimate with a guy during my period? Also, would it be possible to contract any kind of VD without protection even if pregnancy is impossible? Thanks for sharing.

You can get pregnant ANYTIME of the month. I know that sometimes is harder than other times of the month but if you do not want to get pregnant then you need to use some form of protection. You can catch a STD if you do not use protection. There are even some STDs that you can catch even if you use a condom (HPV, Genital warts/herpes) so if I were you I would pick a safe partner and use condoms with spermicide.
Good luck and God Bless!

Getting a VD is always possible, having sex during your period doesn't lesson the chance. Pregnancy is still possible when you have your period, but less likely. Just use protection.

Well, unprotected sex gives you a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant no matter what. Although it is very very rare, as well as possible (so I've heard), to get pregnant on your period.

And you have a very higher chance of catching a VD if you do not use protection.

a VD or STD is always possible without protection. And during your period, possible but highly, HIGHLY unlikely. I wouldn't worry about pregnancy to be honest, but watch out for those VDs!!

pregnancy is ALWAYS possible, unless you abstain (think high school health class!). You can also always get disease from unprotected sex, diseases do not take vacations. Protection should always be used if you are not seriously commited to the person, and if you don't know their history. Have them get a screening done, even if you trust them, to protect yourself and any future partners or children you may have. If they protest, they are not worth your time, your attention, or your body.

Yes. You can get pregnant from having sex during you're period, because the sperm cells hang around for quite awhile after you have sex, in the uterus.

Yes, you can get V.D. even if you cannot get pregnant. That disease has no bearing on whether pregnancy can occur. It does not discriminate. It only matters if sex did occur. Then there is that possibility.

Pregnancy is very possible while on your period. It depends on if your eggs are mature, and when you ovulate. And all kinds of diseases are possible if your partner has them and you don't use protection.

ANY unprotected sex can cause a pregnancy. And if a condom isnt used, there is always a risk for a STD.
