Whenever i try to type it brings up a different kind of box, life "k" will bring up some http box thing. and when i try to scroll, it zooms in and out! Help me please? I need this done for tomorrow 1st hour.

You got a sticky ALT or CTRL key...

I think it is a problem of your Keyboard, not Word.
It sounds like your Function Key "Fn" or your Control Key "Ctrl" are stuck.
Try pressing them a few times.
If not, Hit help, and look up sticky key function-follow the instr.
Lastly, Swap out the Keyboard, or borrow another PC.

Thats because when you hit K when the "CTRL" button is pressed down (Thats the key) it wants to insert a hyperlink, thats the hot key for inserting it. check your Ctrl buttons. That should be it.

Turn off Auto help. I think it is trying to help you by bringing up those boxes. Are you pushing control by mistake?

Check your Ctrl buttons on the keyboard. one might be stuck. when you hold these down they are shortcuts. check and see if the ctrl key is stuck
