It is not more dangerous I was induced and my baby was born 2 weeks early cuz I had toxemia. It is not dangerous as long as she is close to full term for the baby. I am sure the doctors are making the right decision as to whether it will hurt or not.
The one thing it does make the labor longer and harder usually, and it did for me.
They put an ivy in her with this stuff called petosin and she should be fine it just might hurt more and be longer . I was already 3cm when they induced me and it took 16 hrs and I was screaming towards the end the whole time.
Its ok just be there to comfort her the best you can, but I am sure you know that already.

How far along is she?
If the baby is past a certain number of weeks, it is no more dangerous than if she went into labor on her own, and may actually be best, because having the baby out may resolver her asthma problems.
If the baby would be a preemie, then he(or she!) will most likely be spending his first days or weeks in the NICU, to be carefully monitored and cared for.
The doctor is fully aware of all the different possibilities, and if they decided that an induction tonight is the best course of action, then it probably is. They are concerned for both your wife and the baby, too.
Try not to stress so much, or at least take a moment before you go back to try and release some stress, because you will need to be calm for your wife. She will need you very much, because she's stressing and scared, too.
Good luck!

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.
If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

get off the computer and go back to that hospital asap. if the baby is not due yet and is gonna be a preemie, it is very scary, i just had a preemie born at 29 weeks, if the baby is not full term your in for a long journey, god bless stay by her side if they in duce its just a matter of time, spend the night with her , if her blood pressure dose not go down they could take the baby out and it could be a matter of even30 minutes

i think your soreness. i've got had bronchial asthma for 14 years now and function considered a number of docs. in fact, there is not any undemanding remedy for bronchial asthma on the 2d. however the indications would be prevented. It somewhat relies upon on what motives your brother's bronchial asthma. Mine is in many situations dirt and warm climate. yet i think of the well-known technique is utilising the administration inhaler. I cured my bronchial asthma the organic way?

Induction and premature babies are more risky. It sounds like she has pre eclampsia. I had it with my twins and they induced me at 33 weeks. Me and the babies are fine! Just pray and be there for your wife.
Good luck!
