I've just deleted all the songs off of my 1GB iPod Nano and now it's saying I only have 43.8 mb space left? All my songs are deleted though. What's wrong with it?

Check to see what programs, and other files you have on there. You may need to delete those too. I believe on ITunes there is a restore iPod settings, which should help clean it up a bit too. Also remember that all the extra settings take up space, like the clock, games, etc.

To delete the songs plug into iTunes. Open your nano in the bar on the left side. Under music click the song you don't want and hit the delete key. Your songs are probably not on the nano twice but are listed twice: once under music and once under playlists. If you delete songs from a playlist it will not delete it from the nano but only from the playlist. If you delete from music it will also delete it from playlists. To add music just drag and drop from your iTunes library.

Don't use one of those, but if it's anything like a computer then there might be a "trash can" that you need to empty before the deletion is truly complete.
