It seems to restrict things a lot. But not for anyone who has nothing to hide. I don't agree with the Patriot act and all it's curtailment of our freedoms but there has to be a better way to check the people who are terrorist from coming in to our country.

Extreme circumstances sometimes warrant extreme measures.
I don't like to see this country turn into a police state, but screening people as they enter and leaving this country is hardly turning this country into a police state, and it could prevent something terrible from happening where truly our freedom is lost.

To far is when private or public institutions are compiling and selling information about individuals without there consent or knowledge of what information is being shared.

Too far is when you give a leader or decider absolute power with no oversight from the people or government.
