put some toothpaste on them at night, and wash your face in the morning. when the photoshoot comes, i'm sure they'll cover them up with some makeup though.

While it is true that eating chocolate does not directly cause blemishes, a change in eating habits (such as eating extra candy around Halloween - which I also enjoy) can cause blemishes.
I used to use just soap on my face, but it can be really harsh and excessivly dry out your face, which would result in your face over producing oil - which would mean you would break out more. Ultimately I would recommend going on an acne medication. I used to have maybe one or two blemishes a month, and I was just sick of having to deal with that. I went on a medication called KLARON about three months ago, and I haven't had a blemish since. It just makes my life that much easier.
As for quick fixes. I have tried toothpaste. However I would not recommend leaving it on overnight. Toothpaste dries out your skin a ton, and when I left some on for two hours - that area of skin got so dry that it was red and peeling for a week. I would say leave it on for no more than twenty minutes.
I would also recommend getting an exfoliating product, as well as an astringent. But don't overuse the products - because like I mentioned before this can cause your face to overproduce oil and then you would break out more. Trust me, whenever I used to break out I always wanted to wash my face multiple times a day to get rid of the blemishes - and it just makes it worse.
Good luck! I hope this helps!

Merely touching your face isn't enough to clog your pores...if you have been under a bit of stress then that will cause your hormones to go a little crazy and could be the culprit. You should try and use an astringent, like Biore...if you are prone to zits, for whatever reason, then invest in some Proactive-it really does work.

If you're not opposed to it, tanning always drying out all of my acne, if I have any at the time. One session for twelve minutes at the most and after I shower by the next morning my face is already starting to look better.
