I would say that ever since I became a mother that anything having to do with kids and parents sacraficing something for them brings a tear to my eye. I am a very selfless person and it brings tears and a warm feeling when I see someone do something that is geniunely sweet and from the heart.

This country sending all of their so called charities overseas (not only to Iraq, but to other third world countries also to help them feed the children and teach the children there). We have so many children here in this country begging on the streets for food even while their parents are at their 2nd minimum wage job for the day just to be able to pay the rent. All the money goes for high rent and outrageous electric and/or heating bills, water, etc. none is left for food. The children get what is left. As for school, the only learn what they can in gunshot filled schools. That's even in the best of neighborhoods now it seems. Homework? Who has time for homework when you have to take care of the house and your brothers and sisters while your mom and/or dad is out working? Yeah, That is what brings tears to MY eyes.

A movie like "A Walk to Remember," Walking around Gettysburg, seeing the Vietnam War memorial, reading a powerful account of passion and betrayal, good poetry, and a song that brings the memories...It's a lifesong brother, and crying is part of the dance, keep dancing...
