At Target and may be Walmart, they have this plastic mount. You place your hat on it and wash in the washer. I sometimes wash my boys' s favorite hats like that. My dry cleaner does not wash hats. The price of this mount is about $7.

put it in upper rack of a dishwasher warm water and use cascade dish soap powder add a half a cup of bleach into wash tub ---dont dry on sanitize--just air dry ....after washing stuff hat with scott towels to keep share while air-drying

i took my bfs to a dry cleaner!and they cleaned it very well! it only cost like 2-5 bucks!good luck!
