put it in upper rack of a dishwasher warm water and use cascade dish soap powder add a half a cup of bleach into wash tub ---dont dry on sanitize--just air dry ....after washing stuff hat with scott towels to keep share while air-drying

i took my bfs to a dry cleaner!and they cleaned it very well! it only cost like 2-5 bucks!good luck!
