Generally open to conversation, but most of my trips on elevators happen when building isn't known so thinking about floor and where to go when I get off.

it depends on where i'm at in the elevator & if those around me appear friendly - i usually try to make small talk though

Try not to make eye contact...not too sociable with strangers. Unless of course it is a hot guy then I will look! :)

I stand in the front and say nothing and when the door opens I push the buttons for all of the floors and run out.

I keep my eyes firmly on the door,I feel uncomfortable in the lift.Especially if the other people smell.

i usually break the ice by cracking a joke. eye contact is what i like.

Only if I know them. I usually refer to the urinal etiquette eyes straight ahead.etc.
