Am I the only one in the world who notices how A LOT of guys who are in relationships act soooo girly?

For example, they'll leave comments on their girlfriends websites saying "i love you sooooo sooo much .. i will never let you go pooky bear!!! i miss you i'll see you in 4 more days! i can't wait to be with you forever and ever .." Crap like that LOL! And they'll have ridiculous pet names. honey bear.... cuddle monkey... And they'll change their email addresses or AIM screenames to something like "angelas_bf_4ever." GAHH! Come on... where are your balls? Grab some dignity and stop being such a girl!

It's like they lose their masculinity and trade it in for a new feminine look. I can't help it... it disgusts me.

Yeah yeah. I have a boyfriend. He tells me he loves me. That's all I need!!! I would seriously find something wrong if he started acting more like a girl than ME. (Well I'm not a girly girl, but I'm trying to prove a point here lol).

So does anyone else notice this?

I am a guy and if you think that is what you have to do to get some from your girlfriend you will do it!

We don't think with our heads we think with our d i ck's! Even more so at ages 15 to 20 ! ! ! !

I guess what I am saying is the girl controls the guy, you tell him to put on clown shoes for you and he will, OR you tell him to act like a man and he will!

I'm definitely not a girly girl either and I tend to always have a bunch of REALLY masculine guy friends. Because I am so close to men and really spend a lot of time with them... and because I am a girl they open up to me, and deep down, they have deeper feelings than women do. Seriously, knowing both men and women really well, when men love a girl, it is deeper love than anything I've seen a girl express. They'd kill or die for their girl. They really have those feelings, even if they find it hard to express them, but some men are more at ease with expressing their feelings than others are, and that is largely learned behavior from society. Italian men are much more expressive with their feelings and will cry or kiss their male friends whereas a man in a different society, like many Americans, would never behave that way.

I also think that when a man is with a woman that he doesn't care for, he can be callous and sometimes mean and careless. Many time that is the case, because men go dating in that fashion until they find the right one or are ready to settle down. That behavior though is not indicative of the feelings men feel when they actually feel them... that is just absence of feelings generally, or portraying a facade in order to maintain some social status or hide an insecurity. Ultimately that behavior is somewhat immature, and a real man will feel and be secure enough to express and acknowledge those feelings in whatever way he has learned to or feels comfortable doing. For a man to purposefully hide and conceal his true feelings because he fears appearing less manly, is just immature and shows insecurity.

At the end of the day, man or woman, we all have our own vulnerabilities and emotions. Whether anyone is willing to acknowledge their existence is irrelevant. All I can tell you is that men feel and feel deeply and frowning upon that and putting it down is just giving into social constructs.

Society and the feminist movement made these guys like this. It's gotten to the point where a decent guy can't get a date anymore because he's "too nice." Granted, no one told these people to act all girly-fied, but at the same time when the media shows feminine heterosexual men in the movies, and talks about women's rights without talking about men's rights, these guys don't know what to think.
