I love that era when it comes to fashion.
To get the classy look, I would apply a white translucent base as eyeshadow. And fill in the crease with a dark color along the crease of your eyelid and slightly above and below.. The color (depending upon you netural features)
Buy some falsies (eyelashes) at your local department store and apply.. Line your eyes with a dark liner (only on top) with a dark liquid liner. Mascara is very important.. Lay it on thick sister..
Since the eyse and lips were to played up then, you need to choose a lip stick that you LOVE. It doesnt have to look natural at all... Just go for it.. But dont choose that bright red unless it looks good.
For a regular look..
Try very natural eyeshadow and play up the lips.. That crimson lip look was very hot at this time..
Try flipping out your hair to get the full look

i like that era whilst it is composed of trend. To get the stylish look, i could persist with a white translucent base as eyeshadow. And fill interior the crease with a gloomy colour alongside the crease of your eyelid and fairly above and under.. the colour (based upon you netural effective factors) purchase some falsies (eyelashes) at your interior sight branch keep and persist with.. Line your eyes with a gloomy liner (purely on suited) with a gloomy liquid liner. Mascara is quite important.. Lay it on thick sister.. because of the fact the eyse and lips have been to performed up then, you may decide on a lip stick which you adore. It doesnt could look organic in any respect... only opt for it.. yet dont decide on that spectacular crimson except it seems sturdy. For a popular look.. attempt very organic eyeshadow and play up the lips.. That purple lip look replaced into very heat at present.. attempt flipping out your hair to get the entire look

Hair done up on top of your head in curls, or straight down, flipped up at the ends. Lots of hairspray.
Small scarves around your neck over a cardigan sweater (preferably on backwards, so it buttons down the back). Tight black skirts with slits up the back or on the sides, just above the knees. Plain or Black nylons with garter belts and flat black shoes or penny loafers.
Letter sweaters from your "jock" boyfriend and always a "friendship" or class ring around your neck hanging on a gold chain.
Blazers and plaid skirts, pleated skirts, gathered skirts with crenolins (under skirts that made them full, but not too full, that was the 50's), white blouses.
Hope that helps...have fun.
