Celebrities lead "glamorous" lives..people in general want to escape the monotany of life through any means possible...reading about celebs allow us to fantasize about how life could be outside of our own realities..

I am very much up to date with celebrity gossip and love all of it. It's probably got a lot to do with the fact that it just amazes me that these people wake up brush their teeth, put on their pants the same way I do, yet live such different and glamorous lives. They eat the best food, wear the best clothes, drive the best cars, and I know that unless I hit the jackpot many times over, I will live a normal life with average (or above average) pay. I will be a PTA mom and shop for bargains and drive a mini van. These people have others do those things for them. They simply enjoy life in between doing a movie or singing a song. Wouldn't we all like to worry about what party we're going to? instead of what we're going to wear to our 9 to 5?

Americans are obsessed with what they don't have. And who has the most of what they don't? Celebrities. Our nation glorifies celebrities and disregards the real heroes, teachers, police, firefighters....

Yes, omg people need to get there own lives !!! Celebs are people only people just like everyone else :)

People do base their lives on celebs to much! They should just be themselves. What is wrong with just being who you are?
