Central Standard Time is 1 hour behind Eastern Standard Time. Daylight Savings Time is now over however, when thinking about the time difference between two areas during Daylight Savings Time remember that there are some areas that do not participate in Daylight Savings Time therefore, the time difference would increase by an hour during Daylight Savings Time for these areas. You might want to add to your favourites the link below if you're interested. It's official U.S. time. Cheers from Canada. Take care.
