does anyone know the real reason why nick&jessica broke up? they seemed really in love. i heard all kinds of stories as i'm sure you have to, but i never really heard why a divorce, what happened, did jess have an affair or what? if you know the real reason, plz tell me!!!

I think that Jessica and Nick broke up because of Joe Simpson (Jessica's dad). The dad is behind everything. The dad just wants to be rich and famous. Joe Simpson is really involved in his daughters careers. He will do anything to have his kids name on every newspaper, internet blog, and etc. Good or bad. He probably thought that Jessica could do a lot better (with the fame and money). She was making a lot more money. Nick was trying to get back on the map since 98 degrees. It did not seem as if he was doing okay. Well that is what I think.

I heard alot of different things. You know the episode where Nick is celebrating his birthday and Jessica jumps out of the cake? Yeah- remember that was like at some strip club or whatever?
One rumor was that he slept with a stripper the same day and Jessica found out because one of the producers showed it to her.
Another thing was that Jessica was the one that cheated or she had male friends thate Nick himself wasnt fond of. Which lead to him writing a whole album about how sad he is and how he still loves her.
Another was that he treated her bad. Like her song- i belong to me. Yeah, over protective or just treated her like shizznit.
I believe that he cheated (maybe just a kiss but hey--) and treated her like crap. We wont find out the real reason til one of them right a book or something.

Trust me, if Nick and Jessica divorced because of adultry, they would be snitching on each other, like it's a popularity contest. I think they just grew apart. I think Jessica should stop bashing Nick, in the public, I haven't heard about him bashing her, it's not his style.

I do not know but I saw the show they had on TV 1 time and he was a complete @$$hole to her and she was whingeing all the time
I am not hating on them I am just saying what I saw but he needs to get his head smashed for the way he treated her
