I heard that people in Europe are going all crazy over this window color craft, where they paint their own window clings. It's supposed to be real easy. Does anyone have some information on this, where I could get the paints and how to do it? I'm looking for patterns also.

It's really popular here in Japan, too. And it is pretty easy! Just be sure to follow the directions and wait until the glue dries before painting in the colors. That's the hardest part for my kids!

Also, over time the clings get sticky and hard to remove. So don't leave them on indefinitely. And they fade and melt in the sun. And on bottles, they sometimes get sticky and stick to other things.

BUT, they are fun. You might try using a fixer to keep them from sticking to other things. Also, put the clings to the inside of a glass jar.

They are called Glass Deco, and ours are made by Yamato. But Amazon (and a zillion other places) also carries them. Here's the amazon site:

Have fun!

I’ve recently learned how to paint my own window clings from http://www.windowbutterflies.com
They carry paint from Germany that ‘s really bright and easy to use. It’s called Marabu fun&fancy window color. My kids are already addicted to it.
That site also has the patterns you’re looking for.
I ordered the supplies from them and got my order within a few days. Great customer service!
