If you wanted to experiment with different kinds of underwear how would you go about doing it (i.e boxers v. briefs v. boxer briefs) I'm poor, and embarassed about talking to my parents. Also what specifically are jock straps?

Hey, I'm a parent. We've all been there, done that. Just tell your Mom that you want to try some boxers and boxer briefs next time she buys your underwear; she can buy one pack of each. Unless you've got some seriously screwed up parents, they won't have a problem with your request. Whatever you do, don't make your decision based on what these YA yahoo's think you should wear. Try them out for yourself. Remember, your parents are there for you; that's our job.

So, you're poor--you still will have to pay to try. I doubt you'll find used underwear anywhere at thrift stores....
1. Many types of underwear are available in one-packs.
2. Go to Target, their brands are lower priced.
3. If you don't want to buy boxers, go without any underwear, you will get the same feeling. No one will know the difference under your normal clothes.
Jocks are "supporters" go to the sporting goods section and check them out. They have a pouch for your boys and then an elastic waist strap and elastic straps going from the sides of the waist strap to the bottom of the pouch, around your butt and attached between your legs.
You usually don't wear a jock in place of underwear.
My personal preference are boxers or commando. I used boxers with suits and dress slacks, commando with jeans and casual wear.

Boxers are so much more comfortable says my male friend. However, a Jock Strap is used for when men play sports.

The type of underwear one chooses is matter of choice boxers or briefs. Jockstraps are made to protect you they come with cups and with cups. I prefer at times to wear jocks just for the comfort.

jock straps are supporters, they're like boxer brief, but a lot more tighter..
i usually don't wear underwear...
but i wear boxer for sports..
and i wear brief for working out...

if you can't afford to buy the different kinds of briefs you want to try ,the next time your parents can afford to buy you some briefs try a different kind instead of the kind you are wearing now.

just the next time u go shopping for clothes, through whatever u want to get in the cart. and jock straps is that very revealing underwear type that keeps your package in place if u do any sports
