Converge, Misery Index, Pig Detroyer...um my minds going blank. Check out Relapse, Metal Blade, Century Media or Nuclear Blast records.

Slipknot, Mudvayne, Hatebreed, Ill Nino, In Flames, Morbid Angel, Powerman 5000, Rage Against the Machine, Static-X, System of a Down, 40 Below Summer, Satyricon, Cradle of Filth, and Pantera should be a good start

Ever hear the original heavy band - Iron Butterfly? 30+ years later their sound is still suprisingly heavy. And Led Zeppelin still has some of the heaviest songs ever.
