Of course you can. I do it all the time. Sometimes I'll even put it in the dishwasher. Just make sure of 3 things.

1: It's unplugged first.
2: It's not a wireless keyboard
3: It's completely dry before you plug it back in to use it.

You can only use water on water proof keyboards. Otherwise, water will warp the board under the keys and the keyboard will no longer work.

You can use Windex or another cleaning solution. Spray it on the paper towel or cloth you will use to clean the keyboard, rather than directly on the keys.

Take care,
Troy

Yes you can but it is NOT advisable. Use an alcohol solution or glass cleaner. Spray it on a cloth and wipe away. If you have cotton quiutips, you can clean between the keys. Also, a can of compressed air is very help full.

If it is just dusty, just get a can of air. That works better than wiping it off anyways. If you spilled something on it use denatured alcohol. It has very low water content and dries fast. But usually if you spill something on it the keyboard will eventually fry anyways. If you use water it could possibly cause corrosion and really mess things up.
