September.
It's nice out (here, anyway) -- not too hot, though the odd really warm day seems like a treat instead of yet another thing to sweat through. There's a bit of crispness in the air, though without the bone-chilling cold that shows up later.
September clothes are the best, too. It starts getting cold enough for suede, but there's no rain or snow to mess it up. And woolly sweaters are great.
Plus, there's that back to school feeling; even if it isn't back to school for you, you can still buy new pencil crayons &c...

may,,,, everything is fresh, new growth, the new leaves on trees are not fully out of their buds, but they are bright enough to create a beautiful green hue that saturates the hills. In May, the ice on the lakes is just breaking up, and if you take time and listen closely you can hear music over the lakes and rivers as the ice pieces seperate and collide. The intensity of the sun envalopes you in warmth. There is a contrast of heat and cold that shows no other time of the year. Also May is the first time I go to my cabin every year

I love October. It's the most beautiful time of year for me. There's a different feeling in the air and everything smells so crisp and fresh. It's refreshing after a humid summer.

I think this question depends on where you live. Late October early November is my favorite, because I live in the northeast.
I despise winter, but fall is fantastic. The colors are amazing. Dont get me wrong, I love green, but ALL green is what you get around here in spring and summer. Winter is no color. Plus its cold.

For me, it's a draw between September and October. I love the cool weather, the beautiful changing leaves, and the crispness of the air. Also, I love the warm sweaters and boots that I get to wear. :)

December. I love the holiday season. Not the holidays themself, but the season. I love the lights everywhere, and the snow. And the feeling of humanity and wellbeing being passed on by all.
