I do because when I was little, I went to the mall for Christmas shopping with my mom and when I saw those toys in a bag she was taking home with us, my belief in Santa faded away.
Last year, my Uncle just gave it away when he just came near the Christmas tree with some gifts and put them under it.
Isn't saying Santa giving you a gift instead of you giving the gift lying?

Santa is not fake. Im a parent of 4 and I know Santa Claus is real.

I was always told that Santa Claus was a cartoon character like Bugs Bunny and that my parents gave me the gifts. If one is led to totally believe in Santa, what happens if a family gets down on their luck and there is barely enough money left to even eat, let alone buy presents? What happens then, do we just tell the child that Santa lost his way?? It is much better to telll the truth.

To tell you the truth, i stopped believin in santa when i was like 9 years old lol. but yeah. i know someone who is 18 and still believes in him...pretty crazy
