I am trying to plan a trip for my grandparents. They are both retired in their early 70's and Im looking for a place that would be suited for them. They would like someplace quite but then again where there's something to do. They like to do pretty much anything. My grandmother has leg problems so a very big consideration would be looking for a place that there is not alot of walking involved or has wheel chair accessablity. If you know of any magazines or websites I could look at it would be appreciated.

I can understand your grandparents dilemma. My mother is ambulatory but she has slowed down alot. I am happy to hear they are willing to get out. My mother is not.

The following are some sites related to your question. The first is sponsored by AARP which is geared towards the aging popultion. The second one is a company that specializes in disabled travel and the last one is a website with online magazines for seniors.

One of the magazines that comes to mind is Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel which discusses budget or discounted travel.

I hope they enjoy their future trips. It's good of you to assist them

At their age I think a cruise would be a great idea - lots of things to do if they want or they can do nothing - they don't even have to get off the ship when it goes into the ports. Lots of folks their age cruise - they only have to pack once, all meals are paid for - and now you don't have to eat in the formal dining area - they have become much less formal - most ships have added more added dining choices plus there is room service. Also medical docs and nurses are always on board.

Do check out cruise line websites or check with a travel agent they have lots of information.

My favorite cruise line is Princess - reasonably priced and great staff. You are doing a nice thing - they are lucky to have you. :)
